Encyclopedia Commedia is a fast-paced and hilarious exploration of all the knowledge in the world (more or less [markedly less]). Every month, we assemble a ragtag assortment of bitter tastemakers, impure thought leaders, genuinely accomplished comedians and the occasional marching band to pummel our audience’s senses they’re weeping with knowledge.

 

More specifically, it’s a monthly variety show where each installment is a different volume of the encyclopedia and all the acts are alphabetically-ordered. I am the host, creator, and head writer of the show, which has featured SNL cast members, Late Night writers, and more. 

 

Encyclopedia Commedia has been a Time Out New York Critic’s Pick numerous times, and they’ve been kind enough to call me a “Brilliant Comedy Mastermind,” something I would never say myself but have no problem quoting until the day I die and/or book a gig wherein I don’t have to try to convince people I’m funny anymore.
